Xero An Online Accounting System Is Gaining Customers Fast!

Online accounting software provider Xero (XRO) announced that it now has more than 20,000 paying
small business customers. This compares with more than 17,000 reported at 31 March 2010 and 2,000 back on 21 August 2008.

The short of it is xero is changing the way accounting works, disrupting the 'norm' or 'standard' and creating new practices.

Their browser is a huge leap forwards for web browsers, speeding up to 400% faster and hardware usage has decreased and security has increased and useability has been increased.

They are showing their source code to anyone who wants to look under the hood.

Even if you’re reasonably Web savvy, you may know RSS only as the cryptic monogram on a tiny button you’ve never bothered to click when it shows up on sites you visit. Too bad.

RSS – or Really Simple Syndication – has for years been a staple marketing and communications tool for people like Joe Beaulaurier, but only recently began catching the eyes and imaginations of mainstream users.

Is your broadband bill about to change to counting uploads only?

BROADBAND consumers have always had to pay for their internet downloads, but they may soon have to pay for uploading as well.

Uploading pictures and videos onto social networking sites such as MySpace and YouTube had until last week been free for anyone with an internet service provider other than Telstra.

But last week Optus launched a new broadband product that counts upload amounts as well as downloads and includes them in the monthly total amount.

The telco has not ruled out expanding that pricing regime to other broadband packages.
