Changing the world…..one IT department at a time
As Manager, Client Relations, Phillip is responsible for managing relationships with Guru Technologies clients and partners, viral marketing, and the ominous responsibility of being the “face, voice and personality” of Guru Technologies. Phillip also plays a major part in the education, consulting, and application of IT Service Management (ITSM) excellence to Guru Technologies’ clients and partners.
“I saw first hand the problems of having a great product but a bad fit. Over and over and over again. In retrospect I now see that both the company and their clients had no real idea of what each other really wanted. Both sides were so focused on the technology to fix the problem when in actuality; it was a lack of clear agreements and process.” he told Greymouse.

After 6 years in the software education space Phillip decided to relocate to Australia for new challenges and to start a family. It is here that he came into ITSM with an ITIL method when he took a position as an IT Framework educator.

As he puts it: “It was love at first sight! A large part of it spoke to what I had learned when I was in the U.S. Marine Corps. Discipline, ordered, structured yet able to adapt to any situation. I found a method for answering every single IT issue I’ve ever been faced with.”

In 2007 Phillip left the ITSM education space to pursue a career in ITSM consulting joining Guru Technologies, an ITSM consultancy agency.
